*grins* I wouldn't doubt that replacing a chip would fix it, I'm not
surprised apple just replaces the logic board (probably more cost effective
for the volume they do) but doing something like that is way, way beyond me.

Heh, I replaced a blown capacitor on an airport once as it was a very well
known issue and the fix was fairly straight forward... But my track record
with soldering is not the best. Almost lost an eye when I was 16 and had a
capacitor reversed and thought I had turned off the power to the circuit..
