I suppose the cheapest way to do the repair is to do it yourself. Not being one easily intimidated by taking things apart, I swapped most of the parts in and out of a Wallstreet in order to get it going. After all that, I finally found that it was the processor card. Now I have a bunch of "extra" parts!
>From you description of the problem, I would guess that the soldered connection between the power socket and the Sound Card has come loose. If you aren't up to doing a bit of soldering, I have and "extra" Sound Card. If you want to do a swap out (one of the easier parts to get at in the Wallstreet), let me know.
