As a list owner myself, I can understand your frustration with members complaining to you about offlist email. However, I feel your attempt to control what list members do offlist is going that bit too far in list administration. What, are we going to all turn into tattletales now? This sort of thing has been tried on other lists, and almost always resulted in the eventual demise of the lists themselves.

I don't think this list is what I thought it was, and will unsubscribe if your proclamation is indeed the way things are going to be.
