I didn't check Mplayer, because 99% of the comments
said "Non Working" (from Version Tracker).
Anyway, I can't play QuickTime movies on Full Screen
(with decent performance) and if you find an
application wich has better performance, it doesn't
say that Apple shuldn't support it's own hardware
because one application works. The title refers to the
DVD issue (and Apple didn't make ANYTHING to solve
it).

ATI made drivers for Windows XP wich supports the same
card (you can download updates ! ! !).
Their Service Support told me that is up to Apple to
support that chip.
Apple suggest to "switch from Millions to Thousands of
Colors for better performance".
