I find that Netscape 7.02 is incredibly terrific.
Yes, it does load slowly.
But, after loaded, it is lightning.
It downloads pages extremely fast (on dial-up.)
Tabs are a wonderful addition to web browsing, and i find that trying browse without tabs sucks.
Netscape 7.02 does require some tweaking of the preferences.
And it should have a Ram Disc for the cache.
I have an 8600/G3 450, system 9.2.2 (& 8.6)
I think (i have not tried this) that netscape 7.02 works well only on a G3, or faster.
IMHO, Netscape 7.02 (& Mozilla) is The Best web browser.
Netscape is Just as bad if not worse since AOL took them over, dang thing is JUNK
I believe that MS does intentionally make its software better on windows
than on mac.
Thus, MS creates the impression [to poorly informed folks] that windows
is a better os than mac os.
Knowing the truly evil and illegal things that MS has done, as proved in
the antitrust trial,
it is difficult to believe that the inferior MS software for the mac is
"accidental".
