Fair enough. I'm not sure what the solution may be, moving forward. Certainly, your voice about rejecting it is now heard :-), but what would you have said if a poll of ASF Members was taken and the majority said to create the Apache Commons? What if a poll of committers said the same? Is the problem associated with the *decision process*, or with the outcome? The solution to your peeved-ness varies on that answer.
