I think that's a valid fear and this project should organize itself
in such a way that those kinds of power/control issues are avoided
(or at least left up to those who are doing the work).

If there are things wrong with any PMC, then they need to be fixed.
Unfortunately, there are multiple ways to get anything done [at the ASF].
Anyway, I don't think this is a legit fear of moving to A-C as long
as the power over the code is kept in the hands of the people who care
and the people who are doing the work*.

* And I believe we can do that while maintaining legal ASF oversight.
