        First, a general tip -- look for anything that looks like it might be
a name, and then look through your Redhat CD for any RPMs with that in their
name. Also, you should say which Redhat you're using. Also, I get the
impression that you can copy other people's Redhat CDs, and that Redhat is
really selling the manuals and the support. You probably want to upgrade to
Redhat 6, if you can.

        The guile RPM, on the Redhat 6 CD.

        The readline package on the Redhat 6 CD.

        rpm -q -f lists the following:
egcs-c++-1.1.2-12
libstdc++-2.9.0-12

        The python package.

        Looks like you need a new version of libc too.

        Incidentally, I'm fairly new to this list, and I was wondering, was it
ever figured out why lilypond-1.2.0 dumped core on Redhat 6? Even when I
compiled from the SRPM myself?

        :)
