Hi Elie,

Thank you for writing back so quickly. Yes, disturbing, isn't it?

I must have made the \Scores directory through the TexWorks SaveAs
function. Following your suggestion, I created another folder under
\gregorio using Windows Explore andnd called it \gregscores. While I still
can't see the \Scores directory using Explore, I can currently see the
newly minted \gregscores directory.

So, having both my GABC file and th customized main-luatex file still open,
I saved them both to \gregscores, then did the Gregorio typesetting process
on the GABC file to get the .tex file, and then ran it through the
main-luatex file to generate the .pdf output, all as I say running out of
the visible \gregscores folder. Everything worked and the .PDF output did
display. I refreshed the view in Explore of the \gregscores folder and
Explore does not see any files in there. However, relaunch the TexWorks
editor and, lo and behold, the files are actually there. Hrumph. Mind you,
there's still no function to actually SAVE the .pdf output from that
window. I can print it -- huzzah -- but I cannot save it. This is not
helpful. :)

Have any such.... er.... undocumented features been reported or experienced
running under Linux? Should I just wait until I can get my hands on the
extra sticks of RAM to put into my old XP box so that I can turn it into a
Linux box? I've been trying for a few years to get an installation of
TexLive and Gregorio to work on whatever Windows machine I happen to have
been running at the time and this is the closest I've gotten. Actually, I
had the exact same issues that I'm having now on a Windows 7 laptop. I
can't duplicate them now, however because the hard drive on that machine
decided to take an unscheduled pilgrimage and I've not attempted to
reinstall on that machine.

Thanks again for your time and assistance,

Fr. Mike
