Seems like 90%+ of the discussion on these thread is just to make us feel better about our commiseration anyway.
In the interest of the holiday season, I have to say I agree with everyone on this thread about everything they said - even points of view that contradict one another. Given all the issues with Steam today (the store in particular) I am glad I did my in-Steam/in-game shopping for the gifts for my Admin's and a few regulars yesterday - instead of today.
