I know that, but as Nate pointed out, undo does not work for Faces selections (or vertices as you pointed out). Even ignoring that, I still find it frustrating to have to do dozens of undos in a row trying when trying to click on the tiny grab handles manipulators of a selected box (or clicking on the wrong transform manipulator for that matter, giving that escape doesn't seem to work anymore for canceling a transform like it used to with Hammer 3.4/build 1983).

Have it so "left click > select" could be enabled/disabled by a hot key or button (similar to > grid snapping), but still allow "CTRL+Left Click" to add/remove > objects from the current selection and ESC/SHIFT+Q to clear the > selection with "Left-Click-Change-Selection" off. As long as you're not in vertex edit mode, selections are saved into the undo stack; so if you accidentally change the selected object, you can just hit Ctrl+Z to get your previous selection back. - VFIG. _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlmappers _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlmappers
