Some ideas for the book. I wish there would be a better DRYML guide out there. The current guide is mostly an overview of functions you can play with, but for each section there is often very little description of how and when to use the different types of constructs. Would be nice with some scenarios showing how DRYML can help solve them.
Fx: An index page. Creating a table from @this when @this is a list of model instances, fx a list of recipes. Name of each recipe should be link to show page. Table should include edit links and a create new button in a toolbar, perhaps with a checkbox for each recipe and a "delete selected" button also in the toolbar. How would you do something similar on a show page, fx a table of ingredients for the recipe in @this ? When do you use <repeat> and when <collection> ? Some more discussion on tweaking the basic layout, and the parts it is made up of. How to make your own themes to reuse in new apps... Today I plan to go through the "Look and Feel" tutorial 19 (chapter 5). Are there any more screencasts demonstrating tutorials in this book?
