We did the same analysis and moved onto the IBM products with little issues.
We did not move Strobe though. IBM's Application Performance Analyzer did not meet our needs, either operationally or financially at the time. However, you can point Strobe to the same compiler output files that Fault Analyser and Debug Tool use, allowing Strobe to work. We're also considering replacing: - Abend/AID & Abend/AID CICS with Fault analyser Xpediter TSO & Xpediter CICS with Debug tool Strobe & iStrobe with Application performance analyser Any other comments or experiences with these conversions also welcome! ----------------------------------<unsnip>-------------------------------- I can't speak for STROBE/iSTROBE, but changing out the other two will save you a LOT of $$$$$. When we made the switch, IBM sent in a team of "educators" to help our staff make the transition. All went very well and smoothly.
