Thanks to all who responded. I find it really interesting that just about everyone agrees to put these things into sysstc, an idea that got vehemently vetoed by the 'head WLM developer' when I suggested it in a lengthy conference call.

Unfortunately, my boss adopts the attitude not to do anything until there is a problem. And then we get yelled at because we did not take 'pro-active' measures (to use a buzzword).
