Most definitely consider the SAS-alternative WPS from World Programming (WPS). The software runs most SAS Base application language, and it is certified for MXG on both Windows and z/OS. The product is evolving and possibly in 2009, it will be certified for use with CA MICS, as I learned recently at CA World.
