My wife's 800 mghz iMac, the volleyball version. OS X 10.2.8.
She works mostly in Appleworks, latest (last?) update.
Doing spreadsheets and word processing.
At unpredictable moments (according to her) it crashes or locks up.
I would have thought appleworks would be the most in tune with OS X.
Is there anything I could do to tell her what to look for? Or maybe even prevent this from happening?

maybe watch her use appleworks to find out exactly what she is doing when it crashes "unpredictably". it could be she is doing something that makes it crash. if she is right, and it is crashing randomly, then...i dunno.
