Probably a dumb question, but which font folder would I be doing
this to? The one in the system folder, the one in my user
directory, or does AW have a different font folder? Also, if it is
a corrupt font, where would I look to reinstall it?
In OS X it could be the /Library/Fonts,
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Fonts or in AppleWorks itself. Although
the only font folder I could find in AppleWorks is probably not
active but just holding fonts to be installed elsewhere if the user
wants to.
In OS 9 it would likely only be in the "/System Folder/Fonts" folder.
Once you find a corrupt font the simplest thing may be to just toss
it. But if it is one you want or need then you'll have to go back to
the original source. Do Get Info on the font file and see if there
are any clues there. Otherwise you'll have to check through all your
install disks possibly.
