I can't complain about the telephone support I've received, and the email
has also been pretty good, when I've called on it. At least it's not $295 an
incident, like some other software companies I can think of.... But your
point is well taken. I'm a little concerned at the speed with which we went
from 4.05 to 6.03. I wouldn't mind if it took a little longer and was a bit
more stable when it did arrive.

I think it is kin to robbery that they want to charge us for support when
the product obviously needs it. If it were well tested prior to release and
didn't have as many things going wrong, it would be one thing. But a third
of the retail price for something that is apparently required is another.

I also wasn't real impressed with the email support I got, in fact I don't
think they completely read what I sent before they responded with
meaningless suggestions. If that is a sample of what we would be paying good
money for, I would rather take my chances here on this list, and yes they
should devote some manhours to responses on this list.

Hey, I really like the rotating ad support idea--kinda like the "FAQ of the
day"

It seems to me that if they monitor this list they might occasionally toss
in a short answer if they can do so off the cuff. Or just point the
question to the Kb answer. That might reduce the repetitious support calls.

Finally they might consider using the ad support function to post a rotating
ad/comment contaning indivisual paragraphs from the information below on the
messages sent to this forum.
