Yes, it wasted about 1 hour of my time.
It was a total waste of time since there was absolutely nothing
that I could do to prevent what happened in the first place or
more importantly to do anything to prevent it in the future.
The SpamCop member who reported it I think was probably malicious
and wanted to inconvenience and damage as many people as
possible.

What service? We did nothing. You still don't understand.
We sent no email. Our servers sent no email.
We had nothing to do with it. The only reason we were connected
to this event was because we hosted a web site for a client. The
client had nothing to do with it. He didn't send the email. He
doesn't know the person who sent the email.

It would be like me sending a complaint to SpamCop because I
received an email from some 3rd party with your URL in it. They
would contact you.
You want to try and stop people from putting URL's in an e-mail?
How on earth would you do that?
Is there going to be some censor somewhere that monitors all emails?
