We are still getting email sent from our servers
bounced back. The IMail log shows -
07:03 07:42 SMTP-(000006D8) >MAIL
FROM:<mai[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
07:03 07:42 SMTP-(000006D8) 553 5.1.8 <mai[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... The remote server cannot locate/resolve the domain and so it thinks that it does
not exist.
The bounces are coming exclusively from domains
that have Sendmail 8.xx servers.
I spoke with an email admin two days ago that was
good enough to reboot his DNS servers. After he did that we were able
to send to his domain without problems for a while, now we are
getting bounces again. .
We are having this problem with many larger
companies, reliant.com, pbsolar.com, netzero.com to name a few.
Help is Greatly Appreciated.
