And  this  is  one  of the reasons I chose The Bat! as my MUA. It treats
HTML  as  an  attachment  so  there's no danger of something happening I
don't  know  about  like  triggering  a virus or confirming I exist to a
spammer.

BTW,  what  message  text  do  you  have in mind that would trigger this
behaviour?
