White List is *only* for content filtering, and has no bearing on connection filtering.
Perhaps Ipswitch should change this to be marked as "Filtering Whitelist", as "Whitelist" implies a global option. For example, "Since you won't fix your mailserver's problems, I have whitelisted you." implies that the next E-mail from that problem mailserver will go through.
