What does she have selected as the sub-option? Use same settings as
Incoming login? Or use a usr defined login?

If the first option, is she running an AV program that could be altering
her user login?

Subject: [IMail Forum] Another AUTH Outlook question please

Hey gang, another quick question regarding Outlook + Auth.

User has Outlook 2002, and she has her setting under server options set
to "My server requires Auth" but for whatever reason, it will NOT Auth
her on the system. Out mail logs here don't show "Failed Auth" or
anything, just lines as if she never had that setting in there, so
naturally, since we are no "No Mail Relay", she can't send outside our
network.

Anyone heard of errors with Auth in Outlook 2002? I'm currently checking
MS's newsgroups for Outlook, but can't get the stuuuupid search function
to work. So meanwhile, I'll post the question here, in hopes someone can
clue me in.

Thanks!

Paul
