Is there a method or solution to do log file rotation in Imail? We have log
files which are sometimes more than 300 megs. When our support employees are
trying to open this file for i.e. troubleshooting email problems they cannot
help our customers directly because of the duration before the log file is
opened.

so, don't open with an editor, obviously.

and make you imail logs smallest by turning off pop and imap logging until you need to debug, leaving only smtp logging.

searching big text files ( and making yourself ad hoc scripts and scheduled reports) is best done with Unix tools for Windows. With these:

 cat.exe
 cut.exe
 date.exe
 egrep.exe
 fgrep.exe
 gawk.exe
 grep.exe
 head.exe
 less.exe
 mv.exe
 rmdir.exe
 sed.exe
 sort.exe
 tail.exe
 test.exe
 uniq.exe
 wc.exe

... you can do a lot of work.
