And there it is... just like what happened with the Coldfusion and Fusebox lists I mentioned in my original post on this topic. If all goes as usual, some well-intentioned individual will take undesired initiative, and post here next, with a link, saying "I've gone ahead and set up an iMail list for us to use..." And then the splintering of this community will be complete. I call on IPSWITCH to do everyone a favor and KILL THE WEB FORUMS NOW, while they are still young and lack any signficant postings. Fix the mail archive search feature to satisfy those people here that really think that web-based forums are the answer (they are not -- you WILL lose the bright people that help here... it will happen, because they are not going to take time out to open a browser, read the web pages, and reply -- they just won't), and keep this list, and only this list, fully functional. To do otherwise could mean damaging this community beyond repair. If my advice (2 cents) are not heeded, let us all pray that I'm wrong about my predictions...
