We use Trend Server Protect which scans everything in real time. It works fine and quarantined 321 virus emails in the past 12 hours J
The question though, is that perfect, good, or bad? :)
If you had 321 viruses (and/or E-mails with mailserver AV vulnerabilities) sent to you, I'd call it perfect. If you had 321 viruses (and some E-mails with mailserver AV vulnerabilities that did not get caught), I'd call it good. If there were more than 321 viruses received, and any were more than a few hours old, I'd consider it bad.
It's kind of like asking "What type of server should I buy for a mailserver with 5,000 users?" If those 5,000 users average just 1 E-mail/day, an old 486 processor could handle the load. If those 5,000 users receive on average as much E-mail as I do, a single server couldn't handle the job (using IMail/ICS, at least). Numbers are only as useful as the information that comes with them.
