Dang, now that really corks it for us. Either Ipswitch will restart offering a logically priced Imail server only upgrade SA or we certainly will move on, temped anyway just because of their attitude. $495 per year for updates only would be ok with us since a really great support network is available here in this forum. However, not that trust is on the line would they cripple this in order to get their pay per incident profitable enough to keep their support people? Corporate greed is evil, once it starts I it can spread like a cancer. Ipswitch will need to update the core, no matter what and $485 per year should provide them with plenty of revenue for something they need to have anyway. As far as support goes, it’s ok but it’s not perfect, I could just as easily pay per incident meaning paying more for a fast turn around or paying much less if I have to wait until the following day for a call back! Nothing ever breaks during business ours especially since we are on the West Coast it seems. If our clients and I need to wait until the following day for a resolve, it’s not worth that much to me. Faster turnarounds on a list like this is not a reason to pay per incident as I see it.

The added features of ICS is primarily designed to be used by a company for its messaging/collaboration needs. It is not packaged with the ISP in mind. That is why the offered ISP version does not have the collaboration features, namely IM and WorkGroupShare.

are you stating that if you have domain X.Y.Z, domain W.X.Y, domain V.W.X, domain U.V.W and domain T.U.V and you decide to implement the collaborative features for domain W.X.Y that you cannot collaborate within the other domains?

If so, that's just another reason NOT to purchase an unwanted and price inflated product.

Hello,

Someone was asking for "Who will actually purchase ISC"?  Apparently Steven loves ISC...
