Thanks Mr. X, it's looking better to me as time progresses and I may just go for it and take the time to learn it! I was working on a control panel solution for Windows until now, and from what I hear there are tons of them for NIX many which are free. NIX could potentially solve a lot of issues if I could ever feel confident about not being rooted by the bad guys.
