go and listen in on the mailing list of the wikimedia foundation. They've
hashed out a ton of legal stuff in this public forum, and the community is
much better off for it.

Wikipedia is not a public company with shareholders at last check
which means there is a completely different set of rules surrounding
what discussions can be public.

Not only that, Sun's company bylaws may prevent certain discussions
from being public.

As much as you would like to see a public discussion, it is not always
possible when a corporation is involved.
