I was trying "Solaris Express Developer Edition" (b57) for last three weeks. Now i switched back to Debian. The main problem i see with it is this: There are some packages that i consider important are missing in it, like, screen, lynx, emacs, tsocks, latex, etc. So i downloaded their sources and when i tried configure && make && make install very few packages compiled smoothly. Even screen failed to build out of the box. This was a big turnoff for me. If i could build from sources without any pain, i could have used it couple of days more! -- bvk-chaitanya _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
