Dear Siswo
I understand why you say that unamet was politically biased, and understand
you and many people are upset about this - but I am asking you - in your
heart - do you really believe that they cheated when they counted the votes?

memilih kemerdekaan.

Any person brave enough to go to TIMTIM at this time would have to be a
hero - I myself would have been very interested to participate and be able
to see the process taking place, but having two children I feared I would
not return to Australia alive. I would be very interested to see if any
person participating in Indoznet would be brave enough to go to TIMTIM to
see for themselves and discuss these issues directly with the Unamet staff
still in Dili today or at least make direct contact with people who were
there - and break down the barrier of name and label.

My love for Indonesia and the Indonesian people will never die.
