I think that we all have a duty, as Australians, to help the Indonesian
people to remove such criminal segments of their society which allows such
terror in East Timor. And also Aceh, Ambon, Irian, Java, etc.

Although relations with the two countries have suffered, I think that the
blame should not be placed upon the ordinary Indonesian who would like to
live in a just and democratic society.
