FYI, FreeBSD 7.4 is the last release of the 7.x branch, and was released almost a year ago. It's scheduled to EOL in a little more than a year. It would be much more interesting to know if the bug is still present in the stable/8 branch (which will see at least one more release) or more importantly, in the about-to-be-released 9.0.
