Agreed, there's a lot of poor coverage/interpretations of the technical aspects. Then again, it IS a very complicated case... the guys over at TWiL (This Week in Law) jumped rather rapidly over it too, not because it does not deserve coverage, but probably because it requires very deep knowledge of IP law coupled with VM technology - hard to come by.
