I have worked with several app servers including Weblogic, Websphere, JRun, and JBoss. To me jBoss is the easiest of the three to use. JBoss also comes with a quick start guide, a sample template application, and a companion workbook (with sample source) to the Enterprise Javabeans book. Not to mention the availability of the for purchase docs from JBoss itself. I am sorry, but if you cannot figure out how to use jBoss with all these resources (and on very short order) you are not going to find any better successes with any of the other app servers.
