It might be the video card, but it also might be some nonstandard settings in the OEM copy of Win98. JFW worked fine on my Compaq from the beginning, but Norton AntiVirus gave me fits, and an acquaintance of mine was telling me yesterday about a problem he's having with the new AOL--and he doesn't use a screenreader.
