Hello:
It appears that several others on this list server have been having the
same problem. One suggestion that I saw earlier was that there might be
a conflict between JFW and a video card. Since both incidents I have
read about occurred with the IBM Aptiva, I suggest you contact IBM
technical support and go over the problem with them. Incidentally,
though I suppose I should not do that in this situation, I would suggest
your blind friend try to get hold of a copy of Window-Eyes 3.0 and play
around with it. It's easier to install, and I have not noted any of the
lockups, illegal operations and crashes that seem to be plaguing JFW
3.2.
