Hi, Lenny, You might try reinstalling JFW from the CD and paying particular
attention to any messages you might receive during the installation
process. In particular, what does Dr. JAWS say when He/it first encounters
the video and sound cards? Do you have any difficulty installing the key?
These might give you some leads as to where to look for the problem. What
is your color setting? We generally find 256 to be best. I believe that
HJ has a list of sound and video cards they have tested. Do you have one
of those on this computer or something else? Further, If the computer
belongs to a blind person using JFW and the computer doesn't work with the
JFW, then the computer doesn't work. Saying that the computer works fine
except for the JFW program is equivalent to saying that it works fine until
you turn on the monitor. This is not a criticism of anything you have done
or said, it is a point you may need to drive home to your local IBM dealer.
