lenny, you seem unusually stubborn. please listen to me when I say it's the
video card that's causing the problem, and be patient.
Jaws requires a lot of video card info to tell you what is happening on
your display, unlike other voice synthesiser products. The symptoms you
are experiencing are the classic symptoms asociated with incompatible video
cards, eg. video cards which jfw doesn't like.
I am going to tell you something to do which might help.
step1 do not load jfw, no matter how much you are tempted to do so.
2 click the start button
3 click settings, then click control pannel
4 click display
5 click the settings tab.
6 now email me and tell me what the settings are.

after you do this, we can then begin the next step. I understand how
frustrating it must be for you, but please try and calm down, and for the
timebeing, ignore other suggestions on the list as so as not to be
distracted in to doing something which could mess your system up.
p.s are you from Australia?
if so, I could ring you during the week.
