jimmy while i do not agree with the person that started this thread about this
not being a major upgrade, it truely is.
grade 2 braille, auto labelling of graphics plus some small refinements.
plus updated scripts.
still i totally disagree with you and side with original author, you ask how
to get rid of such bugs, its called a public beta.
its pretty obvious hj ignored the list info, and yes it is mainly scripts.
still with it only being scripts why hurry to put it on cd rom, now everytime
you want to install from cd rom you will need to also upgrade scripts.
another disk to carry.
i heard from one of their beta testers that this was the best tested version,
and he was write, few major flaws.
though as minor flaws goes it ranks near the top.
still the public beta test should have been longer.
so as a result a lot of time spent with the end result of jfw being loaded with
minor bugs.
that idea to press when they did just lacked of good old fashion common sense.
now when you consider one of the eudora fixes is using an old script for eudora
3.05 one may scratch their head as to why hj did not do this.
then when one sees jfw help is also flawed, this says hj should have waited
for a fixed.
by the way m s does use public beta test, and they where also caught by a
equally embarrassing bug with win 98, they delayed the release to fix it.
bill
p s most of us payed more for our s m a, so i would think twice before asking
for my money back.
