Well, firstly let me say that You haven't been reading all the posts then,
because I haven't posted a bad ting about jfw 3.3. I have been running it
ever since it was posted as the final release and have had no problems that
a small script that somebody posted to the list didn't fix. I sit back on
this list and keep my mouth shut as people bash HJ left and right because
they don't release the products fast enough, and then when they do what the
public wants and releases a product, then you sit back and bitch cause it's
not perfect.
Now, I'm not a computer programmer, but I do know one thing. JFW is a very
complex program that depends upon a lot of hardware and software settings on
your system. now, if all systems were exactly alike, then I'd expect to see
a perfect product. now, here's the point I want to make. How can HJ
garenty you that your copy of JfW will work perfect when the manufatuors of
computers can't even make computers that have the same model number with the
same sound cards and video cards. I know this to be true because my brother
and I both have NEC Powermates that are supposed to be the exact same
machine, and they don't act the same and they don'[t have the same hardware
in them.
Personally, instead of bashing HJ for trying to help you keep up with
technology, why don't you ry to help them with the problems that the program
has so that they can make a good product. I'll get off the soap box now,
but I'm just tired of people always bashing the hell out of companies like
HJ and Microsoft.
