Mags, I read in Kimberly's inquest stories that, just six months
previously, what she did would not have been illegal. So maybe
there's been a recent law change (she died in August 2001). Or maybe
it's just Ontario. One of the worst things is the Ontario lifetime
ban on welfare they can impose on you if you're convicted of
"cheating". What is a person supposed to do then?

people very close to me that did get both welfare and student loans
at the same time....and they had to pay an emotional price for doing
