I love Rankin mysteries too, and I don't know Edinburgh at all ("raided" some shops 15 yrs ago, but that's all)... :) Have printed out your message, since I've never heard of Q. Jardin before; hope my library will have something in the series...

a lot cooler in Scotland today, never thought I'd be so pleased to see rain.
Rain *threatened* here, but never materialised. All the same, it took off a few degrees. Too bad that I couldn't *really* use the nice grey weather (and light) for lacemaking, but, with guests in the house...
