You forgot to mention that if LUFC do end up out of business/relegated again
cos we only have kids etc, then it would of course be no fault of Beast or
Runt, but those horrid MPs, you know, the ones that Beast attacked publicly
about their commitment to Leeds and their MPs expenses.

I agree entirely that no-one will ever know the full truth of the business
dealings from Risible onwards. I would like to see Beast come unstuck and lose
money. Whatever happens, LUFC will inevitably suffer, including it's legendary
supporters, many of whom (me included) have turned their backs on LUFC whilst
Bates is there. Legendary indeed!

The only fact that seems to be 100% accurate is that no matter what divergent
opinions we have here, it'll make not one scrap of difference. I still reckon
we've some distance to plummet! Could be worse I suppose, at least Elland Road
doesn't now resemble Ponds Forge, unlike Hillsborough.

  Very interesting.

So Leeds Utd has a "proper place in the Premiership" does it...?

Language is such a versatile tool - the playing to the gallery of the
line "Leeds Utd's legendary supporters" - begs the question, legendary
for what...?

It's a more long-winded version of Bates' original threat to the
continued existance of the club if he doesn't win the vote made back in
May. The validity of this threat I do not have the expertise or
information to comment upon.

Subject: [LU] Statement on the club site regarding the potential appeal

http://www.leedsunited.com/page/NewsroomDetail/0,,10273~1062957,00.html

No doubt some will attempt to throw considerable doubt over the
contents, which come across to me as entirely reasonable.

If someone does, would they like to comment on the statement that any
appeal would take around 3 months to resolve, and also the very real
possibility of the club no longer existing as a result.

Thanks!
