Met Stan after the 1990-91 game against Liverpool at ER, when he had his lip in pieces following an elbow from either Batts or Chapman. He still bears the scar now. Seemed like a nice bloke but they don't always go far in football. I think this season we'll do well to get in the play-offs and it will be next season before we see the fruits of Mac and Stan's labours.
