I can't see him costing anyone more than the upper hundreds of thousands.
He is 25 with 12 months left on his contract and had 3 good league one
seasons and that's it!<<
Because if someone doesn't offer an acceptable amount of money, we can
afford to hold him to his contract for 12 months. He either gets his "big"
move now and allows us to take a decent fee, or in 12 months on a Bosman.
Which could mean 12 months in the stiffs, which will see his value fall.
Contract law works both ways. It's refreshing to see the club handling player
transfers sensibly.
