I think Beckford reckons he can cut it at at least Championship level and wants to play there this season and it's not really the money that's driving him. Of course he'd stay if we offered him enough dosh but then you run the risk of having an unhappy dressing room. It was obvious he was going to want to leave if we didn't make it up, ironic that it was his crap penalty that helped keep us down. So obviously Grayson is going to have to get someone else in cos Kandol and Becchio aren't going to be the answer. Also, if Cox has a 2.5M price tag on him then surely Beckford has got to be worth something like that. Jeremy
