Yeah Enoch and Becchio up front - great.
I think Beckford is a pretty average footballer but he's got pace and does
have an eye for a goal. You can't buy that at this level. He was the top
scorer in the league and although we don't know the full details I'm sure
his wage demands weren't astronomical - probably in line with a Championship
striker (no problem with that). He should be paid more than any other
striker in this league 'cos he socres more goals.

I've always thought Beckford is at his best when he doesn't
have time to
think. Scores some very special instinctive goals but
that penalty against Millwall and numerous times when he is
running with the
ball he does some very odd things!
