I think the term Poppy Fascism was unfortunate but, Pete, the effect of your
post is to justify Rob's use of the term.
You have the option of deleting his posts but instead you wish to silence him.
Those on this list with uncritical views of the way the loss of human life is
remembered every November must, at the very least, recognise that intent and
effect may well differ, which means in this case that for a minority of us what
should have been remembrance of lives [needlessly] lost has become a de facto
glorification of war, to the point that one is somewhat hesitant about voicing
such concerns.
