Hello. Some (I have to stress *some*) libraries allow you to xerox
the information side of the box the microfilm came in. I like to do
that- then if I need that microfilm again, I have all the
information. I inter-library loan most of my microfilm and several
times I have gone back to the librarian and said, "May I please
borrow this film again? Here is what was on that box." And guess
what? SHE xeroxes that herself!!
I had not thought about copying what was at the lead of the film, but
it is a good idea. Up to now, I thought getting the information off
the box was plenty. Now I am going to make a habit of getting lead
information as well.
